The Public is always welcome!

The South Shore Astronomical Society has two categories of events —
Special Programs and Observing Nights.

Special Programs are our regular scheduled meetings and special programs or special viewing sessions. Unless otherwise noted these programs take place regardless of weather.

Observing Nights are our usual viewing nights. However, we do not guarantee that members will actually be viewing on this date, as cloud cover, other weather conditions and other personal commitments might preclude members from attending. We will make an effort to post notice on the home web page if an event is canceled.

and we will try to determine if any members will be at the field on that date.
