[Friends_of_SSASTROS] More Eclipse...

Greetings Friends,
I've got a couple of offerings to the cause;
First up is a time-lapse video (attached) that my daughter made surrounding the totality period. Pay particular attention to the times of 38 - 40 seconds and 51 - 53 seconds in the video. That's the Moon's shadow coming and going!!!
The image below is my souvenir from the event, shot through the eyepiece of my telescope during totality. Those proms were IN YOUR FACE visible to the naked eye...everyone was talking about them!


And finally, an interesting anecdote from our local area; my brother in Westwood has solar panels on his roof. Just out of curiosity he checked the production record for the day of the eclipse - check out that dip during the time that the Sun was partially eclipsed!
