[Friends_of_SSASTROS] It's Gonna Be A Party!

Greetings Members and Friends of the South Shore Astronomical Society,
Please join us this coming Friday for an evening of cosmic gazing and relaxation down by the lighthouse at Scituate Harbor. We'll be setting up scopes on the sidewalk and all who wish to do so as well are more than welcome to. The more the merrier! 
The Moon will be prominently positioned, Saturn will be above the eastern horizon, and the International Space Station will have a high, bright, almost horizon-to-horizon pass right around 8pm.

Scituate Harbor is a magnificent destination for just relaxing by the water and winding your day down. Bring a chair and just set it on the famously rocky shore and take in the harbor scene, and if you've got a favorite snack or beverage that you like to enjoy while doing that kind of thing, then why not bring that too?
The weather climate at the lighthouse is quite variable, so do come prepared. Friday is forecast to be hot, but we all know that at this time of year things cool off quickly once the Sun goes down. It's also often quite breezy there, so a jacket or sweatshirt is highly recommended, and just for the sake of being prepared it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some bug spray with you just in case it's not windy enough to keep the little nibblers at bay.
Finally, please feel free to share this invite with anyone and everyone. The lighthouse scene will start slowing down now that we're heading into Fall, so let's see the summer out with a bang!
