[Friends_of_SSASTROS] Two Important Messages

Members, we have two important things happening this week. The first is our November monthly meeting this Wednesday, where in addition to our usual review of recent activities we'll be hosting guest speaker Larry McHenry from Pennsylvania via Zoom. Larry will be presenting on the topic of the Reverend T.W. Webb, the Father of Amateur Astronomy. The Zoom link is immediately below for those that can't make the meeting in-person.

The second item is that we have an outreach event scheduled for this coming Friday evening with the Duxbury Senior Center. As of right now the forecast is for a workable sky. The event is slated to begin at 6pm. We'll keep an eye on the weather as the week progresses and make a final go/no-go decision by 24 hrs. ahead of the event.
