[Friends_of_SSASTROS] There's Hope!

 To all the folks that got out there and got lucky last night, CONGRATULATIONS! If you saw the eclipse a month ago and got to see the northern lights last night, that's nothing short of amazing! Thank you all for sharing your pictures. I don't think we're anywhere near done with auroras in our area. The Sun is up to all sorts of hijinx as of late and probably won't slow down for quite some time. We're bound to get lucky and have aurora AND a clear sky at the same time on some night in the near future!

The news has been rife with the possibility of auroras around here tonight, and remarkably the forecast really isn't that bleak.
The aurora forecast is as good as it gets;

The sky forecast shows some promise around the onset of darkness (9:45pm);

And if nothing else, catch yourself a splendid ISS flyover around 10:15pm;
