I was in conversation with a fellow club member the other day, and he asked me how much of the Sun would be covered during the upcoming eclipse as seen locally. I said "a lot", but didn't know exactly how much. Then today I was on Astro Geek's Clear Sky Chart and saw an interesting thing in the "Nifty Links" box;


So there it is. Partial phases start at 2:15pm, max out at 91% at 3:30pm, and end at 4:40pm.
That's nifty info if you're hanging close to home for the event.
