Mike, thanks for the heads up on Venus at conjunction with the Shoebuckle
Cluster tonight about 900PM. Looking on top of Castor's westward foot
(left if facing us), where one would expect a shoebuckle, I find with
Skyguide, Messier 35, open cluster, magnitude 5.10, aka NGC 2168 in the
location you outlined above. I have not heard of M35 referred to as the
Shoebuckle before. I take it this is what you are describing.
