[Friends_of_SSASTROS] Geminid report

 That's a pretty good haul, Barry and Carolyn! I didn't make a concerted effort this year, but it has seemed quieter in the evenings leading up to peak compared to other years. I've only seen a couple so far, but tonight is gonna be my night, I can just feel it!

We laid out in our chairs last night from about 11:15 to midnight and despite periodic clouds passing through, counted 20 meteors.  One, I’m pretty sure, skipped out and reentered.  I saw a trail…it ended…then picked-up again in the same line of flight.
