[Friends_of_SSASTROS] Notes of A Very Different Nature

GreetingFellow Members and Friends of the SSAS!

  Today’s recollections are different from my usual notes, which in almost all other cases have been jotted down in reference to star gazing of theastronomical kind. Well, last night several members of the club got together once again for some stargazing…but this time of the performing arts variety!

  Club members Brendan Smith and his partnerSarah Troxler both shone in their own ways in the musical Guys-n-Dolls,presented by the Hingham Civic Music Theatre. Brendan starred as Nathan Detroit, the lead sinner/gambler/illegal craps game host and lover of Miss Adelaide, whileSarah kept the music coming as the show’s music director and pianist. I thinkI can speak for all those present when I say that they were both outstanding intheir roles, and that the show was incredibly good!

  If you missed it and think that you too mightlike to see it, you’ve still got two more chances. The company will be puttingon performances next Saturday, November 5th at 7:30pm, and Sunday,November 6th at 2:00pm. Tickets are available online here;  Guys & Dolls Hingham Civic Music Theatre  and also at the door, cash only.

  Of course no notes from me would be completewithout a chart to guide you to your target, so here you go;
